Flight Instruction:
Our club has an organized, AMA approved, flight instruction program. Instructors are available to help and we keep a club trainer in flying condition. If you are in need of flight instruction, please contact the club President, George Kohler (Contact Page), for more details.

AMA’s Introductory Pilot Program:
The AMA Introductory Pilot Program applies to all categories of model flying. This program is not intended to replace the training program that is posted above on this site. The purpose is to introduce non-AMA members to aeromodelling while providing liability insurance to the non-AMA member and the chartered club.

Club participation is encouraged but not required. The non-AMA member is covered while flying at our field under the direct one-on-one supervision of a club designated Introductory Pilot Instructor.
The program provides for 90 consecutive days starting the first day of flying. Signing up students can be done online by the Introductory Pilot instructor on the AMA website. Instructors have all the forms and information necessary to sign up students for the Introductory Pilot Program from AMA.

All instruction is free. More information about this program is found in the links below or can be had by visiting http://www.modelaircraft.org (look for club programs) or by calling 1-800-435-9262 membership services.
